Experto en Seguridad y prevención de riesgos (Safety)

Hatch Associates International Ltd. Important multinational engineering company serving the mining, energy, and infrastructure industries is currently looking to fill a number of site positions to support Hatch’s construction team relatedto the Pueblo Viejo Mining Project located in Pueblo Viejo, Sanchez Ramirez Province, Dominican Republic.

All positions and candidates may be required to commute or relocate to the mine site in Pueblo Viejo.

Safety Professionals Responsibilities:

Analyze, audit and investigate all work sites to minimize the potential for injury or other loss. Uses independent judgment in application of HSEC procedures.

• Maintain, plan and execute site-wide industrial HSEC programs and policies.

• Plan and execute the HSEC department’s activities within the project area.

• Supervise and train subordinates assigned to his/her area or project.

• Investigates, inspects and reports all HSE matters as related to the project or the area assigned.

• Participate in monitoring and controlling HSEC standards and applicable laws and regulations.

• Create and administer a HSEC orientation program for project employees.

• Maintain records, reports, and documents to meet company or regulatory requirements.

• Conduct investigations of project incidents that may result in litigation; obtains and protects collected data.

• Maintain liaison with Owners’ representative, and the company HSEC group.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Four year university degree plus six years of HSEC (health, safety, environment/community) experience or typically has nine years of HSE project related experience.
